Sheriff Hutton Monthly Village Market

Discover Sheriff Hutton’s vibrant monthly market, held on the third Sunday of each month from 10:30am to 1:30pm. It’s a wonderful little market and best of all it’s just a short walk down the road from York Meadows!

Featuring a mix of traditional outdoor stalls and smaller indoor booths, this artisan market proudly showcases local, independent traders offering a diverse range of goods often with an eco-friendly theme. There is also lovely café, which serves a delectable array of homemade hot and cold food and is run by a different local group each month.

Don’t forget to bring your containers for refills of eco-friendly household products and your shopping bags to stock up on groceries, baked goods, drinks, pet treats, art, gifts, beauty products, plants, and more!

Supporting the local community

Organised by villagers, this event raises funds for various local community groups and organisations in Sheriff Hutton. Since its inception in 2019, the market has raised over £24,000 for the community, with £10,000 contributed in 2023 alone. In the same year, £3000 was donated to local groups to support their activities.
