Looking ahead to the new season

The new season is just about to start, and we are ready and waiting for all of our lovely guests to join us this year.  We’ve had a busy winter period with lots of changes at the Park, but you will still be greeted by familiar faces when you arrive at York Meadows.

Our reception is looking fresher after undergoing a facelift over the winter.  New flooring, new shelving and decorating have all helped to create a much more modern reception area, and we are already stocked up with all of the essentials, as well as some non-essentials that you might like to treat yourself to while you are staying with us.

We spent much of the cold and wet weather working outdoors on our pitches to make sure that they all have a hardstanding area for parking, with the hardstanding now meeting the roads around the park creating much easier access to pitches.  We have also added some new fruit trees to our young orchard, which is coming on really well and will prove a popular feature this year.  Alongside all of the new plants that are now bringing colour around the Park, we have created our nature trail, suitable for all ages and abilities, the ideal activity for adventurous families whatever the weather.

We have a limited number of seasonal pitches still available for the 2024 season, if you haven’t booked yours yet then ask at reception, the team can let you know what is available.

We have also added some stunning static holiday homes on Minster View with the pre-loved Countrystyle Classic now having new owners, and we have some lovely new guests who have bought the pre-loved Swift Bordeaux that we were lucky enough to have for sale.  We welcome them to York Meadows, and hope that they have many fantastic seasons with us.

We can’t wait for the new season to get underway, our shop is fully stocked, and the team on reception are on hand for any questions that you might have. We very much look forward to welcoming you to York Meadows.
