Getting to York from York Meadows
We’ve got excellent travel links into York city-centre whether you are travelling by car or by bus.
Park and ride
The easiest way to travel into the city. York’s Park & Ride services allow you to travel to the outskirts of York by car, park for free in a secure car park and complete your journey into the city centre by bus.
The nearest Park & Ride site is Monks Cross (approx 16 min drive). Please note; camper van parking is no longer available at Monks Cross. Camper vans can be accommodated at the Rawcliffe Bar site (approx 18 min drive).
By bus
The Coastliner Castleline bus service operates Monday to Saturday and take you directly into York city centre from Sheriff Hutton. The bus will stop outside York Meadows.
Bike
It is approx. 10 miles from York Meadows to York city centre by bike and will take about 50 mins. There are multiple bike racks throughout the city centre.
